How do I return an item?

Return/Exchange Policy:
 
Your complete satisfaction is our number one goal. If, for any reason, you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you may return the item within 30 days from the date your order was received for an exchange or refund.
 
Returns and Refunds :
  • All returned item(s) will be inspected upon receipt and must meet the following criteria for a credit:
  • The item(s) must be returned in new, ready-to-sell condition.
  • This includes all installation hardware, instructions, original packaging and proof of purchase paperwork.
  • It is the original purchaser’s responsibility to ensure that returns are adequately packaged, insured, and tracked.
  • The returned package must be clearly labeled with a proper Return Authorization Number (RA#).

  • Shipping/Handling costs are not refundable and the responsibility of the consumer.
  • The original credit card used to place the order will be credited for the purchase price of the item and any applicable sales tax, excluding all shipping costs.
Joes will not reimburse labor charges or installation fees under any circumstances.
Shipments received without a valid RA# clearly posted on the outside of the box will be charged a 20% restocking fee.
 
 
Return Authoritation (RA):

A Return Authorization (RA) number is required for any return. You will receive  a RA number once you have filled out and submitted the form below for processing. We'll call you or email you within 24-48 hours (allow additional time for weekends and holidays) with an RA#.
 
Once you have received your Return Authorization number from us - place this number clearly on two sides of the exterior of your box that you are returning to us (the RA number is used to reconcile the package that you are sending to us with your claim).
 
Please indicate the reason for your return of the product inside the box with the part to be returned. Include the packing slip and wrap the package securely.
 
If you do not have your packing slip, please indicate the order number or the e-mail address and name of person who placed the order, along with the reason for your return on a separate piece of paper, and send the package to the address below.
 
For your protection, we recommend that you use UPS or Insured United States Postal Service for shipment.

We will notify you via e-mail of your refund once we have received and processed the returned item. You can expect a refund within 14 business days of our receipt of the product in question.

Exchanges/Replacements:

Items to be exchanged or replaced must meet the same conditions as items returned to Joes for a refund.
If you request a replacement, we will ship your new item after we receive and process your return. Please allow 5-10 business days to process your return once it has been received. A restocking fee of 20% will also apply.
 
If you need a replacement item right away, we suggest placing a new order on our website, or email us at ……..or call us at 877-424-4824 for expedited ordering. Express shipping charges may apply for rush orders.
 
Non-returnable Products:

Most of the items available at Joes may be returned for full credit. However, our electrical products are not returnable.  Those products include: brake controls, adapters, converters, wiring harness, connectors, plugs and trailer lights.
 
Damaged/Defective Products:

It is most important that you inspect the package at the time of delivery. It is your responsibility to check that all items are correct and all pieces accounted for before you sign.

If the product is damaged in shipping, you may choose to refuse the delivery. If you choose to refuse the delivery, you must note the damages on the delivery receipt.
If only part of an item is damaged, you may accept the order, note the damages, and contact us. We may be able to replace damaged pieces.
Joes will be responsible for any return shipping fees if applicable and no restocking fees will apply.
 
Sales Receipts & Invoices:
 
We include a sales receipt in all of the packages that we ship from our Dallas warehouse. At times, to get your product to you even faster - we will have your package sent to you directly from the manufacturer's warehouse. In this case there will not be a sales receipt / invoice in the package that you will receive. If this happens, please do not hesitate to contact us to get a copy of your invoice. And, always remember that you will receive an email receipt when you place your order with us with all of the details of your order. This is an official receipt for your records.
